Our rifle and pistol range is open daily begining at dawn and closed at dusk. One exception is on Sundays when the range is open from 12:00 noon until dusk. The range is also closed during the hours of Club meetings, youth activities and other Club sponored events. Please check schedule of events page for schedule of times when ranges are temporarily closed during these events.

Basic Range Rules (Rev. 5/10/2010)
The Club rules are meant to ensure the safety of all users of our facilities. It is expected
that all members and visitors will conduct themselves in a responsible manner. All club
members are expected to be familiar with these rules, their firearms and the basic rules
of firearm safety. Any violation of these rules will result in a written notice from the Board
of Directors. Subsequent or repeated violations will result in suspension of membership
At the discretion of the Board of Directors!
Firearm Safety
1. Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
3. Always keep the action open and unloaded until ready to use.
4. Know your target and what is beyond.
5. Ensure your firearm is safe to operate.
6. Ensure firearms are unloaded when moving to and from vehicle to range.
General Range Rules
1. A designated Range Safety Officer or Board Member may be present at anytime,
always carry your membership card and be ready to show it if asked!
2. Know and obey all range commands.
3. Shoot only at authorized targets using appropriate ammunition. The use of tracers,
Armor piercing or exploding types ammunition is not permitted!
4. The use of fully automatic firearms is not permitted.
5. Do not handle or load any firearm while others are downrange.
6. Unload, open the action, and bench all firearms during a cease fire, or when not in use.
7. Authorized targets may be; paper, wood, plastic, etc. No glass, rocks,
Cider block or bricks allowed! Commercial made spinning metal target are allowed!
ALL Targets Are to be shot in front of the berms only! Not on top of berms or target frames!
This type of shooting will no longer be tolerated! There are responsible members watching
And are ready to report any violations to the Board of Directors!
8. Junior shooters under age 18 must wear eye and ear protection
(recommended for all shooters)
9. All debris must be removed upon completion of use (empty brass, targets, etc).
Trash cans as well as brooms are supplied for cleanup. To avoid any raise to the
Annual dues, you must do your part in cleaning up after you and your guest!
10. NO ALCOHOL or intoxicating substances allowed on the Club premises or Range.
